Peer-reviewed facial acoustic-wave studies have reported improvements in facial wrinkles, pores, skin texture and laxity. Cellulite research includes randomized trials and a meta-analysis of focused and radial ESWT, while connective-tissue studies have reported changes in skin elasticity and collagen/elastic-fiber density.

Post-weight-loss skin support: this is an evidence-informed application of the broader skin-firming/connective-tissue literature; it is not presented as a GLP-1-specific proven treatment.
